My dad will be celebrating his 80th birthday soon. We are wanting to get him something he would love. we can't afford a new trumpet, but we are looking into other options such as having it overhauled. Our problem is that we want to surprise him at a party we are throwing in his honor. We probably won't be able to sneak it away from him beforehand as I think he plays it a about every day. We thought of a gift cert, but don't know an amount that would cover anything he may need. Probably wouldn't need re-laquering. Any advice
