I hope people read this board often. I am new to the biz and am unsure about whether or not a recording studio can use my music after I record it in their studio.

Should I have a release form for them to sign when the CD has been completed?

The sound engineer added some simple backing tracks, ie drums, keys to my music and I am unsure if he has any rights to those tracks..


Let me know if you have any advice on this topic.
